We are thrilled to introduce our 321 charm necklace in collaboration with the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) for its 45th anniversary to celebrate 3 copies of chromosome 21 present in individuals with Down syndrome!
NDSS has been shifting perceptions and building a more inclusive society since 1979. To help continue this legacy, ANKOR will donate 21% of all proceeds from this anniversary collaboration necklace to NDSS to help advocate for the acceptance, value, and inclusion of all individuals with Down syndrome.
Our Zoe earrings are such a fun way to wear pearls and advocate for Down syndrome at the same time! Each stud in this trio set was designed after our daughter’s extra copy of the 21st chromosome. The gold double-bar stud represents a typical chromosome copy while the single gold bar with pearl inset beautifully depicts the extra copy of chromosome 21, known as Down syndrome or Trisomy 21. The single pearl stud pays homage to the little pearl bracelet our daughter wore in the hospital throughout chemotherapy treatment.
